Ephesians 4:1-5 AMP

I Therefore, the prisoner for the Lord, appeal and beg you to walk worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with complete lowliness of mind (humility) and meekness, with patience, bearing with one another and making allowances because you love one another. Be eager and strive earnestly to guard and keep the harmony and oneness of the spirit in the binding power of peace. There one body and one spirit, just as there is also one hope to the calling you received, one Lord, one faith, one baptism.

Where are we…? Let me tell you. We are at a place of comfort indulging in sin, unrighteousness, and in a state of complete separation from the KING. We are on edge, wanting the world and wanting Christ’s protection at the same time. We are in a state of disarray, confused because we love God (with our words) but it feels so right to do what he objects. This is where we are.

Christ died, FACT. But he did not die for us to remain in bondage. He loved us just that much to sacrifice everything and shed blood that in turned allowed us to live with free will. Since the beginning of time, God has tried to saturate us with love requesting only one thing in return which is for us to reference him and love him back, bringing others closer and engaging in discipleship. But what have we done. We divided the message, we divided the church, and we divided the world. We must get back to holiness. We must submit and break free from bondage. We must BE YE HOLY!!!!

There are a lot of leaders that quote Ephesians 6:12 that eloquently informs us that “the battle is not with flesh and blood, but against the despotisms, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly sphere”. However, we must understand something before we get to Chapter 6, we must grasp an understanding of the wisdom from Ephesians 4:12-13 which is “His intentions was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints, the work of ministering toward BUILDING up the Christ’s body, until we all attain oneness in the faith, and in the comprehension of the knowledge of the Son of God, that we may arrive at really mature manhood”. So basically, before we can defeat the rulers of this unseen world, we must come together in the world we can see, and build up one another as we multiply for a greater purpose.

It breaks my heart to see people separate themselves from God during seasons of affliction. Why? Because this is exactly what the enemy wants and expects. But to be honest, I can’t blame them. You see, in the natural, we are double minded exhibiting wavering faith. Which is confusing to those who are already battling with trying to believe the facts of Jesus being real or not. This is our sad reality.

So where do we go from here… I say back to holiness. We get there by BEING the word, not just speaking the word. We get there by spending more time in our bibles, learning about what God expects from us, by examining our fruits, by walking in love, by repenting, by building up others, by understanding what is wrong, by holding people accountable, by praying for others, by being the light, by embracing the spirit, by resisting the devil, by simply believing what GOD has said about us. Galatians 5:16 states to let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. Verse 19 notes that when you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealously, outburst of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins. The word tells us that anyone living that sort of life will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God. Galatians 5:22-23 tells us the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. THIS is how we can get back to Holiness.

If you don’t learn anything else, learn to develop an intimate relationship with God. You can’t change the world but you can change YOU.

  1. I have to show my appreciation to the writer just for bailing me out of this particular circumstance. Just after exploring throughout the world-wide-web and finding solutions that were not beneficial, I figured my life was over. Living without the approaches to the difficulties you’ve fixed through your good short post is a crucial case, and those that would have badly affected my entire career if I had not come across your site. Your personal knowledge and kindness in touching the whole thing was useful. I don’t know what I would have done if I hadn’t come across such a thing like this. I can also now relish my future. Thanks a lot so much for the impressive and amazing help. I won’t be reluctant to suggest your web page to any person who desires guidance on this matter.
